Effectiveness of professional learning community programmes to improve school quality

The school is a professional learning community. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of communities (PLC) in improving quality schools. method used this research mixed that carried out two stages. correlational was correlation between and implementation PLC programme. Experimental methods are whether can improve quality. involved 3 secondary schools with an average age 14–18 years. results show there high level In addition, programme has proven be effective terms teacher competence student academic fields language mathematics. provides overview for stakeholders regarding importance collaboration among staff. implication heads apply programmes their by prioritising collaborative teaching staff students. Keywords: Community (PLC), quality, students’ competence.
